The Octet system, based on Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), is a real-time, label-free technology widely used to study interactions between proteins, DNA/RNA, small molecules, viruses, liposomes, carbohydrates, and other biomolecules. Compared with traditional methods, it offers faster detection, more direct binding results, and allows for the determination of association and dissociation rate constants. This training session will provide a deeper understanding of the underlying principles and experimental design. It also offers the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with experienced application scientists.
